Dixie is a Quarter Horse/Shire cross, who was born June 3, 2004. She is green broke to ride, and has developed into a sharp mover under saddle. Her sire is Dua He Chi's Roscoe and her dam is Impressive Lace, granddaughter of the legendary Quarter Horse stallion Impressive. She has a strong, lean build, and has inherited her father's natural collection. We greatly anticipate watching this filly grow up and are confident we have only began to scrape the surface of her talent.

Here is a picture of Dixie taken as a late two year old. Even since this picture she has matured a lot, and already stands 16 hands. Besides her impressive way of going, she also has very correct conformation, clean legs and feet, and a level head- making her fit for any performance activity she may be faced with!
